Think doing the condo budget was tough before? For large condominiums (3+ stories), things are about to get a lot more complicated.
In this week’s episode, Attorney Eric Glazer and co-host Karen Curtis break down what qualifies as a “large condo”, why it matters, and how mandatory SIRS reserves are going to reshape your 2026 budget. From roofing and plumbing to fire protection systems and waterproofing, these expenses can’t be waived (except in a very limited exception), and the deadline is approaching fast.
The clock is ticking—SIRS studies must be completed by December 31, 2025.
And you’ll need to fully fund those reserves starting in 2026.
