Florida created two programs to help with rising insurance costs: My Safe Florida Home and My Safe Florida Condo. Both offered free wind mitigation inspections and grants to fund storm-resistant upgrades. Homeowners could receive up to $10K; condos up to $175K. As you know, the Florida Legislature ended in a real blockbuster way in regards to new condo legislation.  In the end The Florida House and The Florida Senate agreed on ONE BIG BILL (HB 913) that is 191 pages long.
